LaTrice Amanda Strong is a multi-hyphenate screenwriter, producer, former actress, and now Talent Agent at The Wayne Agency. A native of Washington, D.C., LaTrice Amanda brings her deep-rooted passion for storytelling and her lived experience as a working artist to her newest role, ushering in the next generation of talent with purpose, vision, and care. As an agent, she is committed to nurturing emerging artists, advocating for their growth, and helping them navigate the ever-evolving entertainment industry.
LaTrice Amanda is the founder of Bird Out of The Cage Productions, formerly known as A LaTrice Production, and has written and produced award-winning films that have garnered official selections at both national and international film festivals.
With a rich academic background, she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology with a focus on Cognition and Instruction. She also holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and an MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in Television and Film. Her training includes professional instruction at the Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts, as well as private coaching in screen acting.
She is also the visionary behind Honor U Performance Arts Academy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit where she serves as the Operational Program Director. Through this platform, LaTrice Amanda creates transformative programming that fuses performance arts with personal development, helping youth awaken their potential, mind, body, and soul.
